The day w as spent at the Oval watching England v SL in the ODI. Disapponting day for SL. Battered and all out for 122 all out. However the game was played in excellent spirit, the crowd mainly - middle England was fantastic and friendly. Cricket is a funny sport, where only the ones who have been can relate to the sport. Recently a friend of mine laughed when I said the game is played over 5 days in one match. A scottish friend of mine said, any game where you have to stop for tea is not a sport!!!
Anyway back to the trip. Tomorrow I am off to get my jabs. I have had email confirmation that my visa is expected to be ready tomorrow and will be dropped off. So it looks like all systems go.
I still need to get my Intl driving permit. Plan to do so tomorrow around lunch time.
