Ahoj Mojmir

Welcome to Russia. Today we picked up Mojmir our 4th friend on the trip. He is from the Czech Republic and will join us all the way to Vladivostok.
Ivana he told me you are concerned about us. Thanks for your concern. But we are all ok and doing fine.
We all had a good rest and the hotel was very comfortable and well equipped. The rooms even had playing cards for the guest.
We had pancakes filled with meat and some with cottage cheese for breakfast with some good tea.
We drove 300. Km this morning to the town of Kemerovo and heading on towards Irkutsk. Kemerovo is a coal mining town and has a population of 500,000 or so people. On approach to the city it showed all the trappings of wealth with BMW Chevrolet showrooms plus all the other usual trappings of wealth. As we leave it behind, we see the usual vendors selling Melons and other season fruits.
