This is my 9th visit to Moscow the rest have been work orientated. The queus at immigration are long unless you are from Khazakstan and they are given fast access. Wonder if Borat has picked that one up for a script. The immigration chap was nice and pleasant as we could not communicate with each other apart from exchange good words in a very British manner. They jump queues thou and it is the first sign you know you are out of England.
Changed some money and manged to get a ticket for the train in Moscow. I have been told to get off at the last stop.
Andrei is already waiting there for me.
It is hot. I am not dressed for the heat. I have worked here in the Russian winter and it was the other extreme.
Trains is on its way. time to sit back and enjoy the scenes. Ticket to Moscow was 300 rubbles. About 7 pounds. I met a Malaysian student who has finished studying here. He did medicine and is on his way back to Malaysia. He was curious to know what I was doing holidaying in these parts. He then wanted to know how long I had been in the UK and when I said over 30 years. His comments were you must have come as a baby!! No doubt that anti ageing cream is working. Shiro if you are reading this stop giggling!!
