Major milestone passed

We passed the Ural mountains and reached 937m above sea level. The photo shows the sign where we leave Europe and are now in Asia. I drove 250km this morning. The time is 1200pm and we have done 400 kms so far. Plan is to do a 1000 km today. We are down to single carriage ways but speeds is approx 100 km per hour on average.
Plenty of services along the way. Some are good and other need to wake up. Subway has reached these remote parts.

The Ural mountains run from the Artic ocean to north west Kazakhstan. Rich in minerals and metal ore there is a number of mines found within the mountains. The mountain range is considered the natural boundary between Europe and Asia.
