There was a song that went like WORDS, Words don't come easy!!!
The scenery we are observing, has it all mountains, valleys. rivers streams and lakes. The flora has changed from Birch to larch and fir trees. Picture book country with a bit of mist. The people are few and far apart. Their features of the people are different darker and more Mongolian with Chinese like features. Food sold by the roadside is now cooked on primitive cookers or firewood. Cattle seem fat and healthy. It is all a bit colder. Think of beautiful Scotland multiply it. 1000 times and it is all here.
The three of us love every minute of it. Andrei was last here 26 years ago when it was a heavily used by trucks. The trucks have since gone. He has been here rafting and skiiing in these parts. I have a load of pics but not sure when I can upload it to the web as we have very intermitant internet connections.
