A day of driving

Done about 800 km today. We had to come back to Novokuznetsk as we are picking up Mojmir tomorrow morning. He has spent the day in Moscow as his flight was later in the evening.
From here on we will drive through to Lake Baykal.
The roads were rough today. It slowed us down.
We had dinner in a cafe on the way. Dinner was pork and chips plus a salad. We also went to a shop and stocked up on groceries for camping.
We have now checked into a nice little Motel for the night. We get a room for the three of us with a shower. Clean up and recharge all Blackberries and laptops. Plus backup pics onto the laptop.
Andrei also updates his spreadsheet of all expenses so that we all keep a track of expenses.

  1. Folks seem to be having problems adding comments to this blog. It appears you need a profile to post a comment. Here are some directions. Let Jude know if you continue to have problems.

    1) Click on "comment", under the part of the blog you would like to comment. You will get a screen with a text area to write your comment. Write your comment. You then need to select a profile. The profile must be on one of the following - Google account, LiveJournal, WordPress, TypePad, AIM or OpenID. I had one on Google so I picked that. Then click on 'Post Comment'. If you don't have an id on any of these sites you can easily create an account on gmail at www.gmail.com
    2) You will then be prompted to sign into your profile account - in my case google or gmail. Once signed in, you will be prompted for a screen name - mine is dumdum.
    3) You will then be prompted to type a word verification - just follow the instructions. On this screen you can also edit the comment if you want. Then click on "Post Comment" and you are done.
