Left the hotel this morning at about 9.15am. Went for a stroll around the square and along the river. We got into the car and left for Khabarovsk some 700km away. We passed the first sign to Vlad which said 1530km.
The city is about 150 years old and quite modernized. The first cafe we stopped had rolls and something I have not seen in any cafe along the way - a microwave.. We left the cafe without eating.
Just past 12 pm we stopped for brunch at a cafe. Food quality was poor.
