Driving, Wednesday morning

Driving was hard. We were warned the 300 km of road in front of us was not good. Perhaps the roughest roads we had got to. It was too intense and we all took turns to drive.

On the way Mojmir bought what he thought was Orange drink in a huge bottle. It tasted so but on closer inspection it turned out to be some sort of alcoholic beer.
We arrived at Irkutsk and looked for a motel along the way. We found a decent Motel in the city centre called Rosa. It was the best we stayed in so far. We showered cleaned and recharged. Then went down to dinner.

We had a feast this time.
We all had local beer which was very light together with smoked Omul fish. Omul fish is unique to the region and I am told not found anywhere else in the world. We went through 2 plates of it. It was good and I highly recommend it.This was followed by salad and a plate of pork and soggy chips with of course more beer. Piotr and I indulged are sweet teeth with Ice Cream.
Then we settled for the night.
